Rome: Season 2
The year is 44 B.C. Julius Caesar has been assassinated and civil war threatens to destroy the Republic. In the void left by Caesar's demise, egos clash and numerous players jockey for position. The brutally ambitious Mark Antony attempts to solidify his power, aligning himself with Atia, but coming to blows with her cunning son Octavian, who has been anointed in Caesar's will as his only son and heir. Meanwhile Titus Pullo attempts to pull his friend Lucius Vorenus out of the darkness that has engulfed his soul in the wake of personal tragedy. For once again, the fates of these two mismatched soldiers seem inexorably tied to the fate of Rome itself.

Wish There Were More Seasons - imot
I really enjoyed both seasons of Rome and wished that this series had been carried on. It was a very interesting look at how people may have lived in Rome, Egypt, and other areas at that time or how these areas were ruled. The stories of the different characters in this series were definitely interesting and intriquing.Rome Best Season - WILDCATS7
After watching Season 1 of the HBO series Rome, i was not happy at all with the show, But HBO the true powerhouse in televison came through in Season 2 of Rome. Way better characters now and better plot to the show. Its too bad that they only made 2 seasons, because it cost way too much to produce with the set and production cost. In the end HBO displayed why it is the leader in televison.Rome Season Two - CrazyCatLady
Season two was as good as season one. It picks up where Season One left off - March 15th, 44 B.C. - the day Julius Caesar was murdered. It follows the rise of his heir, Octavian (Emperor Augustus)and the downfall of Marc Antony and Cleopatra.
Great storytelling. Will definitely watch both seasons agaain. It's a real shame that they only made two seasons. I would have loved more.
