Three's Company: Season 1
"Come and Knock on Our Door..."
In the spring of 1977, ABC network executives gave a six-episode "trial" run to a new sitcom called Three's Company. Almost overnight, it became one of the biggest hits of the entire season and more than twenty-five years later, it remains one of the best-loved TV series of all time.
The beloved John Ritter stars as Jack Tripper (the role that won him an Emmy, a Golden Globe and the hearts of millions), the ever-bumbling bachelor who shares an apartment with down-to-earth Janet Wood (Joyce De Witt) and dim-bulb blonde Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers). Along with their sexually frustrated landlords the Ropers (Norman Fell and Audra Lindley) and Jack's fast-talking pal Larry (Richard Kline), these three outrageous roommates tripped and jiggled through a world of slapstick pratfalls, sexy misunderstandings and some of the most scandalously titillating comedy America had ever seen.
Three's Company - Season One features the original six episodes - including the classic pilot (the one featuring Ritter, De Witt, and Somers for the first time) - that started it all, now collected on DVD for the first time ever!
For the two other pilots (that did not feature Ritter, De Witt, and Somers together) of this series, please see the Special Features of Season 2 and Season 3.

The cast of Threes Company in my opinion is absolutely perfect. The chemistry between them is so dramatic. I haven't seen this show in ages, and now I know why it used to be one my favorite shows. Even for a first season, the script was done very nicely and it introduces all of the characters, and allows you to have a connection to everyone's personality.great show - Gio-
I have been watching this since i was a little kid as well. And this crew of Jack, Larry , Janet, Chrissy , Roper, madame Roper, Furley they all deserve awards. You can sit down for hours and enjoy this great comedy that was based back in the day. Watch Jack strike out with woman on a daily basics and watch these kids get in and out of trouble. A must have for the people who have seen it before and a must watch for those who have not had a taste of this yet.Re-live the classics - G---
John Ritter was probably best know for his role as Jack Tripper in this classic TV series. Been watching this show since I was a kid and it's always funny. This show was done back in the days where there was no such type of comedy. From the crazy antics of Jack Tripper, to the secually repressed Ropers (and eventually came along the "lady's man" Mr Furley) to the blond bomb-shell Crissy, this show was one of if not the first to explore the 'taboo' on TV. If you have never watched this before, you may find it a bit on the cheesy side. Come on, it was done in the 70's. But if you just want to go back in time and re-live old memories, defintely site down watch it all over again.
