Jericho: Season 1
Jericho is a drama about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they're the only Americans left alive. But in this time of crisis, as sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed, some people will find an inner strength they never knew they had and the most unlikely heroes will emerge.

I heard it was good but it wasn't - nobbymcdobby
A bunch of people told me this was awesome and post-apocalypse is one of the greatest genres. But it wasn't any good and I am glad it was cancelled. It had that dude from Simon and Simon that married Delta Burke from Designing Women. He was a total miscast. After the first disc I just didn't care about what happened. I was just wishing the bomb would drop on these clowns.outstanding - Birtch
I heard little about this series when it was actually on tv. I remember seeing commercials for it and not really being pulled in. After watching the first episode at a friends place I couldn't zip the series fast enough.
All the characters where very well developed. The green family seemed so much like a real family. The casting was so well done.
All the characters had back stories that plays in to there lives and actions in the show.
My favorite aspect of the series is the message of hope that is in every episode. Despite the chaos and anarchy outside the town the people of jericho never loose there humanity. Can't be better! - ahann097
I have already seen all of these episodes, but in the anticipation of the start of the new season, I have zip'd them again so that I can get my boyfriend caught up on the show. The plot is extremely well thought out, and is a realistic hypothesis of where the world is going. I am a big fan of Skeet Ulrich and am glad he was cast in this role, he is a great fit!Although, I would have still been hooked on this series had it been someone else, as this plot and the script writing is excellent. Can't wait for Season 2! So glad CTV has picked it up for Canadian broadcasting.
