I think this was the right time to end the show. Jerry wanted to see if he could do the show without Larry David and he did. There was no reason to go on any more. The last few episodes kind of showed the quality going down a bit so I think it was the best time to end it.Only slightly worse than previous years - eli_quincy
When Jerry Seinfeld wrapped this megapopular sitcom after its ninth season, he said he wanted to go out on top, and he was pretty much right. If the ninth season wasn't quite up to the level of the seasons before it -- as plots and characters grew more cartoony and outlandish -- it was still a memorable, hilarious season. Having original creator Larry David (who left at the end of Season 7) return to pen the finale was a nice touch, even if that episode is among my least favourite of all time.Season 9 - kappa
Laugh, Laugh, and more laughing. Doesn’t matter what year or episodes we watch, the results are always the same, laughing. The only sad part is that Seinfeld could be the last sitcom that really makes you laugh. I think the best thing about this show is that always uses a variety of everyday situations.
