Remarkable achievement - Signal42
After watching all 3 seasons of the original series when they first came out on dvd I can say that this set is a remarkable improvement in video quality. The redone effects shots really do compliment the series rather than detract or steal the spotlight from the story. I can only hope zip decides to add the additional two seasons to its libraryThis is the version with the new digital FX - SwimRef
This is the version released in November 2007 with remastered video and redone digital special effects. The other versions of Season 1 that Zip has listed are from 2004 and 1999, and do not contain remastered video.
Even though this is listed as HDDVD, it is a combo disc with regular DVD on one side.
