Big Love: Season 2
The critically acclaimed hit series, Big Love, returns for it's second break-out season. Bill Henrickson works hard and plays by the rules. All he wants in return is a happy, secure, normal life for his family. Is that too much to ask? Maybe so. For a polygamist like Bill, the American Dream comes with strings attached. Season 2 opens with even more drama, as Bill's mission to learn who tipped off the authorities and exposed first wife, Barb, as a polygamist escalates. Not surprisingly, his search will lead him to the polygamist compound of Juniper Creek where his primary suspect is Roman Grant. Bill contemplates changes in his personal and professional life that promise to impact every member of his family.

I enjoy the different take on this series. It gives views and different perspectives on how a ploygamy lifestyle effects those involved. It also shows how many people who aren't polygamists that it effects as well.
Although I have my own view on this topic I feel this series (though I understand it may not be overly accurate) gives an inside view on why those who practise polygamy do so.
I would recommend this to anyone no matter where they stand on the issue. The best is yet to come... - movie_goer
The writers of Big love always, always amazes me, I have in the past raised my eyebrow and shook my head at Polygamy followers. Magazines and the news always like to stretch the truth- all for a good story, right?
However Big Love shined a new light on my lack of Knowledge. It turns out some Polygamist Couples aren't part of a compound or in a cult. Theres those who we consider Normal everyday people, that is what this show is.... Some critics believe that Tom Hanks and associate Producers of the show wash over the issue, sugar coding it as an 'ok' or 'acceptable lifestyle'. Perhaps a bit, but shows do that- they stretch the true. No different then an anchor man would or woman gossiping at the parlor.More of What You're Looking For! - verano
Season 2 did not disappoint! I continued to be enthralled with the life of the family, and love how easily they switch between scenes in suburban Utah and Juniper Creek- I only wish I saw more of Juniper Creek! I found the portrayal of the UEB to be eerily reminiscent of the actual united brethren who rule the FLDS communes...
