CSI: Miami - Season 5
During Season Five, each member of the team faces their own life-threatening calamities, each time bringing the team closer together for living through them. Alexx is caught in the crossfire of a rocket explosion while at the courthouse to testify, and is nearly killed by the blast. Calleigh is targeted for death when a suspect fears that her work on a case will bring them down, and Tripp finds himself standing on an active land mine on one of Miami's beaches while working a case. One false move will cost him his life. After ending his relationship with an opportunistic news reporter, Wolfe finds himself going back to her for help... this time at Horatio Caine's urging.

CSI Miami: The Heat Will Get You! - rocketride
My girlfriend and I love this show! We zip every season we don't own (we have almost all of Vegas, the first couple of Miami and 1 of New York) and watch an episode or two every night before bed.
This show just keeps getting better as the characters become more developed and the writers continue to produce great writing!

Horatio Cane & his forensic team are back for another season of murder & mayhem in sunny Miami. This is without a doubt my favourite in the CSI franchise. Yes the show has a very slick or polished look to it. Also David Caruso, as lead character Horatio Cane is extremely over the top with his performance. Despite this, I still love CSI: Miami! All of these things help to make the show so unique and interesting. The storylines move along at a fast pace and the visuals (i.e. split screens, sweeping camera movements, etc.) are all part & parcel of what makes CSI: Miami what it is - one of the best shows on T.V. today.
