The sensational sci-fi series that has to be seen to be believed, The Invisible Man is now available on DVD for the first time ever! Join con man-turned-covert-op-specialist Darien Fawkes (Vincent Ventresca) in 23 gripping Season One episodes, including the two-hour TV-length pilot, as he undergoes a top-secret invisibility experiment by the "Agency." This used to be my favourite show when it was on Space. The story lines are interesting, the acting is great and the overarching story is very creative. If you're new to this version of The Invisible Man I suggest starting with disk 4. The characters have bonded by that time in the season, though there is still an underlying distrust on Darien's part, which makes the series that much more interesting. After that, ease yourself into the first and second disks knowing that cohesion does form among the team. Sit back and let the insanity that is I-Man unfold. Not Impressed - benh
I watched the pilot .. and that was enough.
Not terrible but .. not very good either.
Predictable, hokey ... just didn't do it for me.
TIP .. only get disc ONE til you decide if you want to see more or not.
It's a shame ... good concept ... but the writing just seemed too weak.
