I remembered the Love Boat as being more of a drama when I was a kid, with romance and humour and a little bit of everything rolled in, but now that I watch it as I'm older, I find the whole thing is rather tongue in cheek, and I quite enjoyed it. It's got some 70s cheese and lots of eye-rolling dialogue, but it's a fun, nostalgic trip on the high-seas with a veritable who's who of the 1970s aboard. Well worth a peek.Anchors aweigh - Bearly
I really enjoyed this CD. Boy, this is a delight to watch. I never missed them back in the seventys and am really enjoying the rewatch. Every week there are three story lines each independent of the other. Sort of like a real cruise, all those people, all those stories. What memories - chevroeil1701
I recently started travelling on cruise ships and I just wanted to remember that old serie... WOW it fun to watch even after all these years! I had forgotten some of the characters. The ship doesn't look at all like the modern cruise ships we have today, but it still looks like people reallyu had a good time going there. The stories are a bit superficial, but heym I do enjoy not thinking about anything from time to time.
