Oh Burt Reynolds... - JayA
I made the mistake of watching this the day after Deliverance was on TV, and well, it really highlighted how comparatively bad Burt Reynolds was in this. He seems to be putting in time here for the paycheque, being the weakest of the major characters in this show. I generally liked the episodes I saw, but watching Reynolds sleepwalk his way through giving uninspired lines was really distracting. Another pleasant, formulaic sitcom, but it could have been much better with a lead who seemed more interested in being there.
