Spaced: The Complete Series
"The one, the only... Spaced. Accept no substitute." -Quentin Tarantino
Spaced revolves around two idle twentysomething flatmates - immature skateboarding would-be comic artist Tim (Simon Pegg, Shaun of the Dead), and moody, responsibility-shy Daisy (Jessica Stevenson), and their self-induced lack of success in employment, relationships and life in general. Together with their oddball assortment of friends and neighbors, Marsha, Brian, Mike and Twist, they exist in a world perched precariously on the edge of normality.

A strange blend of 80s sitcom, amphetamine binge and whacked-out stream of consciousness firmly anchored by a perfect cast. Pegg and Stevenson’s scripts are intelligent and funny as hell, the blatant jabs at pop culture never miss their mark. I'll be sorry to see the series end!A wonderful british comedy - SStones
Season one over introduced the characters and seemed to lose that brilliant comedic edge that the brits seem to have of letting you catch the jokes rather than ramming them down your throat. It was funny, but could have been funnier were they willing to introduce the characters less repetitively, people who missed previous episodes will figure it out.
This second season, however, was very comfortable with launching the characters into outrageously hilarious situations. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Jessica Stevenson's great acting talents and comedic genius shine throughout the season. Don't miss this one if you appreciate the genre.Classic - Platomd
I stumbled upon this hidden Jewel completely by accident. This series is nothing short of good friends creating a comic situation of daily life. This show was everything that most Star Wars geeks could reference and for the ladies the relationships that a girl has to manage. I think we have all had a friend like Daisy. The characters hit you close to home and if you’re tuned in enough you will catch all of the overt references to Star Wars but if you’re really a keener you will manage to see the subtleties hidden within the direction, cinematography and dialogue. Well Done, Highly recommended.
