In this second disc of a woman of independent means Bess continues to use manipulation to steer her life and every other person in it. I found this part to be a learning experience for me because as women we tend to control the ones we love to keep them in our lives, causing resentment to our children, it seems the running thread of most of our genders life. Hopefully it is not too late for me to learn this lesson. The movie itself I found too shallow, skimming thru Bess's life and her wallowing in self pity because she wasnt the foremost thing in her children's life.
