Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 1
Based on the heroine of the Terminator series of films, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey), The Sarah Connor Chronicles begins where Terminator 2: Judgment Day left off. Sarah had just vanquished the Terminator sent from the future to kill her son, John (Thomas Dekker). Now, Sarah and John are alone in a complex world as fugitives as they constantly look over their shoulders for more enemies from the past, present or future that could attack them at any time. Tired of running, Sarah opts to go on the offensive against the Terminators set on ending her life, as well as the world. John knows that he may be the one to save mankind, but at only 15 years old, he's not ready to take on the responsibility of his destiny. John finds himself drawn to Cameron (Summer Glau), a fellow student at his high school, who becomes more than just a classmate when she becomes John and Sarah's protector. Trailing Sarah and John is FBI agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones), who soon becomes an ally to the duo. In an exciting extension of the Terminator film series, Sarah must learn how to not only protect her son from the evil they face, but protect the world from the rise of the ever-evolving Terminators.

Pleasantly surprised - SoloSymphony
I had my doubts when seeing glimpses of the show back when it was actually on tv, but decided to give it a chance. Pleasantly surprised, the show manages to echo the movies style nicely.
The CGI robot shots are unfortunately a disappointment in many scenes, even being a show from 2008 or so, they still stand out like B-Movie cheezy effects. But what can you expect from a TV budget show.
Luckily the stunts are aplenty throughout the show, with hard hitting robot-on-robot action, being thrown through walls and explosions galore ... there is a good deal of special-effect eye-candy to satisfy most viewers.
The soundtrack, unfortunately seems to try (quite hard) to fit in with the original movie theme, but somehow didn't feel quite right. I don't know how to explain why it often just falls short of expected.
All in all, as a fan of the franchise, the show delivers enough to entertain. One of the Great ONes! - skylar22
Love love this show. It's not my style but it is sooo well done. Great actors and the story is so crazy and exciting. I love Cameron and her robotic personality is just perfect. Everyone is this show is perfectly cast! Great great show, you are missing out if you miss this show, though do be prepared there for some unknown reason was no third season...so you are really left hanging! :(Short but Sweet - PopcornPete06
This first season may only be nine episodes long but it has all the action and drama of a full lenght season. The episodse are well written, well executed, and well acted. The series itself remains true to James Cameron's original vision and lives up to the expectations of its fans. All in all, very entertaining.
