Heroes: Season 2 (Blu-ray)
The second season begins four months after the events of Kirby Plaza. Peter Petrelli, Matt Parkman, Nathan Petrelli, and Sylar have all survived the events of the season one finale, and are trying to return to ordinary lives despite their extraordinary abilities, with the exception of Sylar, who is on a quest to regain the use of his abilities. The main plot arc of "Generations" deals with the Company and its research on the Shanti virus. This research is explored through the Company's founders, whose identities are revealed, as well as through the effects of various strains of the virus on The Haitian, Niki Sanders, Sylar, and others. An amnesiac Peter Petrelli observes the potential devastation of the virus in a future New York City. The "heroes" ultimately come together in an attempt to stop the release of a deadly strain of the virus and avert a global pandemic.

Great premise running out of gas in s2 - JT_Kingston
After the first few episodes of season one, this had the potential to be one of the best sci/fi style shows ever. Unfortunately it is comic book callibre, rather than Sagan or Star Trek, and the intrigue is limited to who is good or bad. The second season had only 11 episodes due to the writers strike.Still enjoyed it! - hilkayaker
I agree this season was a bit complicated with all the characters and at first I had problems seeing how they would all fit together. But it was a really good season and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the third season!! The discs don't have as many episodes because of the writers strike, but on the last disc it has an insane amount of extra's with an alternate ending, plot and a whole bunch of missing scenes that I found worth watching. Still love the show and keep changing my mind as to who is my fav character and who is and is not a bad guy!season - Pumon
The first season of HEROES was fantastic..the second one not so much. Still a great show compared to many others on tv. The only really annoying thing is that there are simply too many characters to follow and the stories dont really have a chance to progress too much
