Even as a hardened cop, things have never been tougher for Detective Vic Mackey. In The Shield's riveting sixth season, he must deal with a vicious, gang-related slaughter with no leads, the desperate attempts of an Internal Affairs detective to discredit him, and the looming threat of forced retirement. To top it all, he's obsessed with finding the killer of a valued Strike Team member and friend. Meanwhile, Shane hooks up with the Armenian mob and becomes a dangerous adversary to Vic. Claudette struggles to keep the barn from being shut down, and Dutch suffers the wrath of his arrogant new partner.

Season 6 keeps the awesomeness coming. I can't believe the stuff that Vic Mackey juggles. He makes my life seem very easy. That's why I like to watch this show. I hope he gets away with everything. He is awesome. I can't believe his buddy Shane. What a dingus.Too much of the same... - Cricri7
I just started watching season 6 of The shield and I am losing interest a bit. I always loved this series, but I am finding that the subject is beginning to be tiring a bit....They are trying to frame Vic for Lemming's murder, even though he did not do it, and all the cops in the precinct are talking about this. We have been hearing the same conversations since season 1, that Vic and his team are corrupt. Since the beat of the episodes is fast, it keeps you in but I am beginning to lose interest. I still love Dutch and Claudette. Those 2 actors are excellent are all their scenes are riveting! I think it is time that they retire this show.Best Action Drama Ever! - nanferrer
I believe the shield is the best action & drama TV show out there. The 6th season is as amazing as the previous ones. However I can see how Scott Brazil death has influence this season. Somehow it has lost its direction but still exiting!. Maybe this new direction proves to be benefitial for the overall series of this great tv show.
