It was my third time watching this movie. My boyfriend and I had watched Sex and the City 2 in theatres and he wanted to see the first movie.
This is a fun movie, full of excitement (wedding preparations, fashion photo shoot) and memories. It starts off with a bit of catching up on what the girls have been doing and then we get into the Mr. Big-Carrie relationship. There are a lot of ups and downs in the girls relationship with their partners however the friendships are still strong.love it - Nickel_Burns
If you loved the show you will LOVE this movie! After several seasons on the show, what makes this movie great is that is continues the storyline. Often when movies are made out of TV series they begin a new plot, not here, which makes this movie great. Its about timeless friendships, love, Mr. Big and of course SEX! You get a better understanding of the characters and will leave you wanting more. I can't wait for the sequel!If you loved the series.... - anwallette

This movie ties up some of the loose end questions that were left dangling at the end of the series finale.
The chemistry between the four ladies is the same with real life situations that crop up in all of our lives at some point in some way. It explored hard issues with some interesting resolutions and still left an opening for a movie sequel. It will be interesting to see where the franchise goes next!
