Corner Gas: Season 5
After four seasons, 69 episodes and 13 Gemini Award nominations, Corner Gas: Season 5 is funnier than ever with more high octane laughs courtesy of the all-star writing team that includes Brent Butt, Kevin White, Mark Farrell and Andrew Carr and introduces Emmy Award winner Norm Hiscock, along with the highly-acclaimed Gary Pearson.
Just some of the Season 5 hilarity includes Karen and Davis investigating mysterious crop circles, Brent and Lacey making The Ruby and Corner Gas more environmentally friendly, and Oscar moonlighting as a school bus driver for a day.

The show it still funny in season 5. Yes, the characters haven't evolved much and nothing ever really happens in this show, but the laugh-out-loud moments are plenty, so it is all good. Many great episodes in this one. A few duds, but not too many. All in all, a home grown product that is very enjoyable. The countdown begins.. - movie_goer
The best in show: 'wash me', 'classic gas', 'contagious gas' and 'final countdown'.
Corner Gas season 5 makes it loud and clear: That the end of a Great show is almost near, as the second last season unfolds. The jokes are less funnier and the once charismatic cast are less then energetic...
The truth be told Season 5 was orginally planned to be the end, as CBC was set to replace the time slot in it's place with: Little Mosque on the Praire and followed by Heartland. I'm so glad they held off and brought the beloved series back for 1 more year.Season 5 continues the laughs - Anon1832
Season five continues with the great hilarity that we have come to expect from Corner Gas. The characters have all developed and the relationships are still being explored. Although it lacks some of the fresh spontaneity of the earlier seasons, it's still nice to be back at Corner Gas and is one of the few laugh out loud comedies I've seen recently. It's also really nice to see a home grown show that is so well done!
