How I Met Your Mother: Season 3
The Legendary Season 3
This multiple Emmy winner stars Josh Radnor as Ted Mosby, a bachelor who gets a wake up call when his best friend Marshall (Jason Segal) announces his plans to marry his longtime girlfriend. Told in flashback, the story follows Ted as he sets about finding his perfect match, armed with the less-than-reliable advice of his friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris, Doogie Howser, M.D.). When he meets Robin (Cobie Smulders), he's sure he's found the one, but somehow, things don't seem to be going as planned. The romantic adventures and pitfalls continue with this complete set of episodes from the show's third season.

Slapgiving, we're not from here, Sandcastles in the sun- The highlights of season 3.
While the lovable (Marshall & Lily) and mostly annoying (ted) have you laughing for more, the junior year was shaky and inconsistant to the previous seasons. And at times having you question why you'd waste a night watching the friends wannabe CBS show? In most episodes the writers flipped and flopped with backflashes that just didn't add up on the timeline or the hair styles of previous season. In any case I can safely say the show was so close to cancellation it toke a miracle (ironically what they intitled episode 20) season 3's finale. How I Met Your Mother - moogie7
This show has become my new obsession! I have been going through the seasons as fast as Zip can send them to me. It is very funny, and has some great lines (mostly by Barney). I enjoy all the characters and the way the show develops them throughout all the seasons. I only wish the episodes were longer :)Might as well keep watching it. - Blob
There isn't much that can be said for season 1 that can't be said for other seasons.
The whole idea that the show is based on "how I met your mother" gets a bit old, it shouldn't take that long to tell the story, but it is a small part of the series.
Still the show is still Legend... wait for it, Dary.
I enjoy the show, Barney is a laugh as a rake type character, there is some nice eye candy with the female leads. Well worth watching, except the show seems to vary too much for my tastes. Some shows are a laugh riot, others get much more serious and lose the humour. It is both good, the story line is strong enough to carry the show when the humour is weak, but when I watch a show I get into a frame of mind, and this show does not allow me to do so. This goes double so as it is paired on Monday nights with the more pure comedy of Big Bang theory and Two and a Half Men.
If these digressions bother you, avoid, if not, giver.
