Rob Zombie take this horror classic about a random, unexplained child who stalks and kills for no apparant reason and turns him into a greasy haired, neglected, white trash kid. Everyone in this movie speaks like they grew up having cigarettes put out on them and look like they wash their hair in a spitoon.
Michael Myers isn;t scary hear and Rob Zombie does not develop tension in his horror films and instead gives us a geek show of imbiciles and hillbillies for Michael Myers to pick off. Forget this one exists and see the original.A terror masterpiece - goredm
Rob Zombie makes this classic one of his own. Without showing a blood bath and with each of the characters perfectly selected, it will keep you on your toes until the end.
Even if no crazy FX were introduced on this film, the lighting changes and the added value of the famous mask, worked perfectly together to create the same and required creepy ambiance. A five starts terror movie.Disappointment - Enyo
I love the original Halloween. I believe that it's one of the greatest movies of all time. So, I was thrilled when they remade the movie. That thrill turned to disgust when I actually watched it. Watching the deterioration of Michael Myers from disturbed boy to psychopathic killer was interesting. However, they turned Laurie Strode into a trashy wannabe-Britney brat. Her friends went from mildly wild to teen whores. Gratuitous nudity was all over the place. Not only would I say that this movie isn't worth watching, but I'd say that it never should have been made.
