Firefly: The Complete Series (Blu-ray)
Five hundred years in the future there's a whole new frontier, and the crew of the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity is eager to stake a claim on the action. They'll take any job, legal or illegal, to keep fuel in the tanks and food on the table. But things get a bit more complicated after they take on a passenger wanted by the new totalitarian Alliance regime. Now they find themselves on the run, desperate to steer clear of Alliance ships and the flesh-eating Reavers who live on the fringes of space.

BEST SHOW EVER!! This show is amazing. My sister described it as "space cowboys" while a little corny, it does describe it well. Every character is my fav and I can watch this series over and over again. Serenity, while not as good as the series is still a good addition to the end of the series. Definately a must-see, even for those not much into sci-fi. I haven't met anyone who did not fall in love with this show!An excellent series looking great - mojoprofilms
I own the DVDs of Firefly, so obviously I've seen it before, but thought it worth zipping the Blu-Rays to see it in full clarity. While the DVDs were pretty bland and muddy, the comic-book scale horizon of this series plays really well with Blu-Ray's rich colours and great sound. While not the sharpest transfer on the planet, it was certainly worth a zip.
If you're not familiar with the series itself, start with it and then watch Serenity, and you're in for a treat - from Nathan Fillion's cowboy captain to Adam Baldwin's comical relief as the dumb tough guy, set in a witty, intricate universe as good as any Star Trek or Star Wars, you can't go wrong.
