What A Great Film - elevation02
I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary "Black Magic" this past weekend. Growing up in Canada, on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean no less, I never realized how difficult integration was for African-Americans. We had learned about it in school and in the course of completing university, you come to understand how difficult life was in the deep South. However, until I watched this documentary, I never realized how profound an impact the sport of basketball had on race relations in the USA. This was a stunning documentary, very well-made and interesting. I loved learning of the lives behind all the basketball players, especially Willis Reed, and thought it was great. If you're a basketball fan, you should rent this film. Great job!
