Swingtown: Season 1
The neighbors are closer than you think.
As America celebrates its 200th birthday, two generations of friends and neighbors in a Chicago suburb explore new freedoms and seek connections with each other in the midst of the socio/sexual revolution. This new period drama takes viewers back to the 1970s for a look at suburban households testing the murky waters of sexual revolution, following swingers throughout open marriages, "key parties" and other extravaganzas.

Yes we know it is 1976. Why not play ANOTHER song to help us remember. There is so much gratuitous music here that it becomes distracting. No wonder it got cancelled. Don't waste your time. But a disco album. I guess they had some deal to sell a load of CD's along with it. Maybe a few tee shirts and other souvenirs.Unexpected gem - verano
I was pleasantly suprised at how much I enjoyed this series. The character development is incredible, and the episodes segue nicely into one another without being choppy or repetitive. I appreciated how much work went into creating the 'authentic' 1970s feel- it was much better than I expected.I love this show! - BrightAngel
Not only is this show a great representation of the 70s (I just love the clothes, music, decor...) but the storyline is intricate and interesting. The show follows the lives of three very different couples and how these couples interact and look at the "activities" of the 70s in different ways with different effects on each of them. It is humanistic, humouristic, and erotic all in one! I love this show!
