Nip/Tuck: Season 5 - Part 1
A Disturbingly Perfect Drama
L.A. City of Angels. Tinseltown. La-La Land. The place that's made a bundle selling glamour, illusion and dreams; the perfect place for the newly relocated plastic-surgery practice of McNamara/Troy.
It's also the place for "Lights! Camera! Scalpels!" as Sean and Christian go from consulting on a TV drama about plastic surgery, to being on-camera players (and rivals for stardom). It's the place for wavering Kimber to become porn again, for strung-out Matt to try to go straight, for Julia and Christian to rekindle a flame, for all the personal and professional entanglements that are McNamara/Troy. And it's the place for skilled surgical procedures... some silly, some heart-rendingly serious. Welcome to L.A.!

Still a good series but starting to show signs of age and lack of creativity. Not that it isn’t creative; it is just pushing the bounds of reality a bit too much.
Still, I wouldn’t stop watching it because the first four seasons have drawn me in to find out where all these off-beat characters finish up. And characters are still being introduced that you love to hate or hope they will show Christian the door.
In the history of adult TV series, this one ranks right up there.So....Tell Me What You Don't Like About This Show... - CruelIn10tions
..Well Doctor, I actually love it.
When I was forced to watch an episode from season 1 I found it refreshing. So, taking the DVDs one by one, I watched them all. I was totally hooked. I had discovered a Drama which was "Disturbingly Perfect" in every way. The characters are well created and have lots of depth. You grow to love the characters and by the end of the first season, you know them well.
The stories are brilliantly written and also have this dark sense of humour which you almost feel embarrassed to laughing at.
Full credit goes to the actors, especially the main three. Truly wonderful to watch.
This show is a MUST. This will have you seriously addicted.Always constant.... - Cricri7
What I love about No/Tuck is its consistency. The producers and writers don't try to make it what it is not, and only stick to what it aims to be...entertainment. Once in a while in television, everything falls into place and Nip/Tuck is an example of it. The actors all have chemistry and I don't mean in the love story kind. Julian McMahon and Roma Maffia have an amazing chemistry on-screen even if they are not a couple.
I like the new plot of moving to Hollywood this season and them working on a drama and after on a reality show. This fifth season is still very good television.
