A sadistic sociopath with his own set of morals and values? That's Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter analysit by day and a serial killer by night. This show is amazing because not only is the main character so complex, but it is filled with many interesting twist and turns. Dexter is the most sympathetic serial killer on television, a sadistic sociopath with his own particular set of morals. This dexter is more human and likable than the Dexter of the book this show was based off of.
The show is well shot, well written, dramatic and dryly funny. If you can deal with blood and murder, I highly recommend giving it a try.
