Witchblade was a great show that never got the ratings it deserved. The main hero is cute, tough, strong and disciplined. The mythos on this show was good and while Witchblade could have lasted for a few more seasons, the female star here is the greatest thing that ever happened to television.Witchblade - CrazyCatLady
Yancy Butler stars as Sarah Pezzini, a New York homicide detective who "inherits" the witchblade, a weapon of great power. This series started off really well; had a lot of potential and was very interesting. It tells the story of the witchblade, its history and how Sarah fits into the puzzle. Up until the end of season one (episode 12ish), it was pretty decent. Then it took a bit of a nosedive around episodes 14-15 and then picked back up, but it never really regained its stride. The series finale was a mess and anti-climatic. It's a pity, as the show did have potential.
