Burn Notice: Season 2
Spies don't get fired, they get burned.
Covert intelligence operative Michael Westen has been punched, kicked, choked and shot. Now he’s being burned, and someone’s going to pay! When Michael receives a "burn notice," blacklisting him from the intelligence community and compromising his very identity, he must track down a faceless nemesis without getting himself killed in the process. Meanwhile, Michael is forced to double as a private investigator on the dangerous streets of Miami in order to survive.

Smart, fast paced, great leads, interesting villians. This show is the best action show on TV and beats out most action movies. The Lead Jeffrey Donovan is outstanding as an ex-CIA operative who uses every trick in the book to try and unravel why he was Burned and how to help his various clients week to week. The one stretch is how many people in Miami need an ex-CIa agent for help but once you accept that - enjoy the ride. Also, it is a delight to see Bruce Campbell in a regular series. Geeks like me are drawn to him like a moth to a flame. I love the tech stuff they use and I love how Michael (Jeffrey) uses his wits to get out of the situations and the solutions are almost always clever and not forced. Season 2 was even better than season 1...can't wait for season 3.Wow square!! - imagination201
Once again, this series delivers! The actors are terrific, the characters are addictive, and the mix of humor, action and romance is well balanced once again, its seasoning of gadgetry and spy secrets honed to perfection :)
If you haven`t seen it yet, rent it, rent it, rent it! Or even buy it! YOu won't regret it :)Burn Notice Season 2 - eyewitness
Our uber-capable hero Michael Westen uses his Special Ops training to take on Miami's lowlife criminals. Each episode stands alone -of course, all along there's slow progress being made on the burn notice origin. This is an exceptional series, all the way around. This show's writing is smart, well crafted, well acted, and doesn't insult the viewer's intelligence.
Season 2 brings more depth to the supporting cast of interesting and resourceful friends. Gabrielle Anwar is WONDERFUL as Fiona - her cheerful bloodthirstiness, tactical knowledge and hardened attitude make her very believable as a seasoned and experienced member of the spy underground. Sam prefers to kick back and relax, and while he’s always willing to help with a job, his less intense personality keeps things light-hearted. Each season leaves me craving for more episodes.
