I have never really watched family guy as a series on tv but I really wanted to see what the movie was all about. While the show can be abrasive and sometimes too rude for my liking it is also terribly funny and a valide Simpsons replacement in my books.Hilarious - filmgeek
This is a brilliant show. Creator Seth McFarlane demonstrates that he is a comedic genious. He blends the standard family sit-com with rapid-fire pop culture references and satirical send ups of well-known celebrities and politicians.
The supporting voices are first-rate. This is a show I will happily re-visit any time I need a good laugh.
Viewer beware, there are no punches pulled in this series and there is something to offend everyone. If you are okay with that kind of humour, then this show is for you.Almost perfect - Wentai
Sets 1-7 were fantastic, near perfect blends of comedy, satire and piercing social commentary. A funny dogs, a hyper intelligent baby and a funny dad round out this cast along with pretty Meg and jumpy Quagmire.
The entire set was worth it for the wonderful WW2 episode, complete with Me-109's swirling about in a big fight with British Lancasters (I'm a big aviation buff).
