I use to think How I Met Your Mother was a rip off of Friends... and sure the similar parrels are obivious. IE: 6 new york friends, who hang out at a pub and talk about life. And of coarse theirs always a Joey in this case his names Barney (80's star Neil Patrick Harris).
And I admit my usual kind of humor is raunchy, noir and racy. That watching How I met your Mother is juivenile and Not my style. So you ask "what got me hooked?" Well the answer is Simple: Jason Segel. Who might I say he gives his full 110% memorable comedy flare to the show. Infact my favorite characters our Lily & Marshall because in real life thats my marriage. Seriously, LOL.
