As an avid fan of the original series, I was interested in seeing what they have done with this new one.
I knew that there were going to be pretty much all new characters, so I didn't have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised...it's a cute teen drama, with a few ties to the old one through Kelly, and rumours of Dylan (the father of her child). Donna comes back for an episode as well..!
Anyway, if you enjoy teen dramas, my suggestion is to go into it expecting simply that, and you will be right into it before you notice..! :)terrible - nko99
terrible so far...the original Beverly Hills 90210 was soooo much more better it's not even funny! the theme song is basically gone, the cast sucks and it kinda looks like the OC meets Gossip Girl. I hope the next few discs are better! The characters have no personality like the originals. I cared about them...these ppl, I couldn't care less that happens to them.Surprised by this one! - skylar22
I never really watched the original show, so I was just watching this with fresh eyes and not expecting much. I hadn't even heard much about it when it was on tv. I have watched the first disk only and I must say I love the characters (can't tell who is good or bad just yet) and the main character played by Sheana Grimes is so likeable! I also like the plots so far and I can't wait to see more! It's great to have a juicy new show to watch. I really recommend this one! Enjoy!
