Fist of Legend (Jing wu ying xiong)
To Avenge His Master's Death, He'll Fight Like Never Before!
Widely regarded as the greatest film of two legendary careers, Fist of Legend teams superstar Jet Li with martial arts choreographer Yuen Wo-ping (The Matrix) for "some of the best fight sequences you will ever see" (Dan Mitchell, IGN Movies).
In this tribute to Bruce Lee's classic The Chinese Connection (a.k.a. Fist of Fury), Li radiates sheer power and coolness as a kung fu phenom living abroad who returns home to avenge the death of his master and save his martial arts school. Shifting effortlessly among diverse fighting styles, Li even fights blindfolded and wields his belt as a deadly weapon. Fist of Legend is essential viewing for any Jet Li fan and "the promised land for kung fu cinema" (HangKongCinema.com).

Jet Li's Best - Doom
I'd argue that this film shows Jet Li at the top of his game. The story is simple, but compelling, and leads into some of the best martial arts fights of Li's career. Yuen Woo Ping choreographs, so you know each fight brings something unique. The homages to Bruce Lee's original Fist of Fury were a nice touch as well - though this film would have stood fine on its own.Jet Li's best - SkAdS
In my opinion. This is his best movie. There is plenty of fighting scenes in this movie to please most martial arts fans. I wont compare this to Bruce Lee's original.
This movie stands on its own. The martial arts choreography was done by Yuen Woo-ping and this movie is directed by Gordan Chan (Royal Tramp).
I have to give this 5 stars since I like the story and the fighting scenes are just simply spectacular. If you haven't seen any Jet Li movies, this will definitely be a good start.Jet Li Proves He's Got Major Talent In "Fist Of Legend" - bwod
Let's get over the fact that no one can come close to Bruce Lee's on-screen charsima. Aside from that, Jet Li has become a close second in the years since Bruce died. His intensity, powerful fighting style, and moderately good acting has enabled him to carry the torch, when the subject of serious Kung-Fu movies comes up. In "Fist Of Legend", all the production values are there. A big-budget film made in The People's Republic Of China, this movie will satisfy any fan of the martial arts genre. The action scenes are excellent. They absolutely blew me away. Based on "Fist Of Fury", Jet Li succeeds in the role that Bruce Lee made famous some twenty years previously. Highly recommended. Two thumbs up! (Note - Over-dubbed in English, not badly though.)
