Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Revenge is coming.
The battle for Earth continues in this action-packed blockbuster from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg. When college-bound Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers, he must accept his destiny and join Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in their epic battle against the Decepticons, who have returned stronger than ever with a plan to destroy our world.

really doesn't matter what I write here as people who like the transformers movies will like them regardless of whats written about them. (puts them in the same catagory as Twilight fans) If you want to see lots of explosions and cgi special effects thrown at you so continuously that the whole movie feels like one big explosive cgi effect, well then this is the movie for you. If you want real dumb dialogue and no character development and no plot.. well, look no further... guaranteed to not make you think. If your looking for a mindless entertaining summer blockbuster without the entertainment... this is the movie for you.Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - djfunkybob
It didn’t surprise me that a man vs. machine (or, at times, machine vs. machine) film lacked emotion. You wind up staring at the unbelievable, jaw-dropping effects and ignoring the fact that cities are left in shambles, world wonders are destroyed, and hundreds of thousands die. Labeouf is a charismatic lead, but Fox adds nothing more than being hot. As a result, I had zero interest in their love story. And, were Labeouf’s parents around to try and draw an older audience or to simply be cheesy? My fruitless wish is that Bay will realize by the next installment that effects can only go so far in a movie franchise.Autobots Transform and Crap Out. - grantalias
Like all Michael Bay films Transformers 2 could have been a much better film.
Special effects? Great! CGI! First class! Acting & story from a direct to video film release.
The story is disjointed and feels like there is a lot missing, like all the good parts.
And yes Megan Fox is amazingly hot, but ever her can not save this injustice to the Transformers franchise.
Now it wasn't as bad as the first Transformers film but that is not saying much.
The only reason I rented this is because I've been a life long Transformers fan and hoped that it would be a better film.
It was interesting to see some ancient Transformers history that pertains to the plot, but that is few and far between.
So if you're looking for mindless explosions and horrible story Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a great movie.
