It is just sketch comedy, but unlike Monty Python, (perhaps the benchmark to which to compare british sketch comedy)Manstrokewoman finds its humour in much more contemporary circles. Where a Python skit might open with men dressed as women in viking helmets storming a maternity ward (For some reason), Manstrokewoman will just feature normal characters at the pub, arriving home or other, very normal, situations.
I have to admit I prefer Monty Python's best skits over Manstrokewoman's best, but that's not in any way putting Msw down. Msw is brilliant sketch comedy and may appeal MORE to a lot of people than wildly silly comedy such as Python. I really love the recurring gags that MSW builds upon from episode to episode.

when you first watch an episode you will have no idea what the hell you are watching. trust me, your mouth will be left agape and you will be scratching your head saying WTF! but after a little time you start to smile then giggle and eventually you will be on the floor crying with laughter. i can't even explain what this show is. its just random clips of absolute nonsense. if your a fan of da ali g show, or the british office, or any british comedy, this is a must for you.
