Nip/Tuck: Season 5 - Part 2
A Distrubingly Perfect Drama
L.A. continues to be the land of plenty for the relocated plastic surgeons of McNamara/Troy. An aspiring rapper wants more more...booty to shake, so would the docs please put some junk in her trunk? Can would-be vampires have those nasty neck wounds concealed? Can a yoga expert with a giant, uh, appendage have it shortened? Yes to all the above. And maybe everyone, even the docs, should also have a check-up from the neck up.
Season 5 of the enhancement surgical procedure dramedy wraps with eight episodes of envelope-pushing surgery, surprise, silliness and seriousness. Yes, seriousness. Becuase Christian now battles the Big C. Sean copes with the aftermath of the knife attack. And Liz says "I do" to the last person you'd imagine. Time to stretch your imagination, fans.

I am sort of looking forward to this being finished now... I have only watched the first disc but I have moved the others down on my list... They are really getting to the bottom of the barrel as far as plot ideas go. Everybody has died, been sick, shot, killed, married, divorced, back together.. etc., etc.... It is now getting into soap opera territory. Still can't stop for some reason but the likelihood of any of this stuff ever happening just keeps getting less & less as the series goes on.Still loving it - Jujubes
Most series by the third season looks jaded but Nip/Tuck manages to amuse even after 5 seasons!!! What I love about Nip/Tuck is its flawed characters (flawed but likeable, and yes, even Kimber!). Christian always cracks me up and in this season, although he's going through some major obstacles in his life, he managed to bring humor to the show (Julian McMahon IS Christian!).
I liked the focus on Liz this season, I loved how they gave her some more screen time as she is probably the strongest and best female character on the show, and certainly my favourite.
I am looking forward to Season 6!!! (cannot find any TV stations in Canada that airs this show anymore so have to wait for the DVDs!)good - JOE52
It's the same recipe as the other season but it's still good. After some few episodes you get back in the tv series. It's very good dialogue and insult. Very good intrigue.
C'est une bonne saison. C'est la même recette que les autres années avec de bons dialogue et insultes. De bon sujet d'actualité sont aussi traités.
