Poor Anne!! - hilkayaker
Anne Boleyn is an amazing women, one of the most fun wives of Henry VIII to learn about. She was not as pretty as they portrayed her, but she was flirtatious, vivacious, and quite bright for a women in those days (according to the sources I read) which made her passionate and explosive relationship with Henry so much fun to watch. I love Catherine of Aragon, she was certainly the most regal queen and had almost as horrible a life as her daughter. The whole time is just so interesting. The series is a great fun loose portrayl of the times and a great way to get people who would not normally be interested in history into it (like my fiance, he hates history and is hooked on this show!)Good watch! - pinkcess
If you liked the first season, you're bound to like the second season.
I think the whole series is very well done and have recommended it to my other friends.
I knew the Henry the 8th story before they made this series and I think this series goes in to a lot of depth and detail to make it come alive. It is very entertaining.
I'm anxiously waiting for season 3 to arrive.Excellent series - addictedtomovies
Just loved this series so far. Right now the series is still being done. Its the life of Henry the eigth and shows the progression of his life and all his wives. Acting is excellent. The storyline plays like that Anne Boyln movie (a really good soap opera). It kept my interest going and I ended up spending the day watching episodes back to back. I could not seem to turn it off. The other great thing is learning about the history (although it felt far from a history lesson). I cannot wait for new episodes. It plays like the HBO series Rome and the quality is just as great.
