Emboldened by the return of Lord Voldemort, the Death Eaters are wreaking havoc in both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that new dangers may lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. He needs Harry to help him uncover a vital key to unlocking Voldemort's defenses—critical information known only to Hogwarts' former Potions Professor, Horace Slughorn. With that in mind, Dumbledore manipulates his old colleague into returning to his previous post with promises of more money, a bigger office... and the chance to teach the famous Harry Potter.
Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry's long friendship with Ginny Weasley is growing into something deeper, but standing in the way is Ginny's boyfriend, Dean Thomas, not to mention her big brother Ron. But Ron's got romantic entanglements of his own to worry about, with Lavender Brown lavishing her affections on him, leaving Hermione simmering with jealousy yet determined not to show her feelings. And then a box of love potion-laced chocolates ends up in the wrong hands and changes everything.
As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof with far more important matters on his mind. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Well to start with the movie is a love triangle of Hermione,Ron and one another new girl.Yes harry potter plays a role too and he too tries to carry on his love story.This movie is more of a love story in which each of the character tries to be involved in the love.There is one action scene in the movie which lasts for 20 seconds and that too not good.Action sequences were hugely missed in the movie.The movie is not worth money.The director has played with the emotions of the audience.I am saying that because i am a big fan of Harry potter series.And the screenplay was also pretty bad.I would recommend that not to go for this movie.It will destroy your interest in the coming harry potter movies.Review - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - maw-
As with all the movies to date, this installment is a visual feast which closely matches what I imagined the world of Harry Potter to look like when I was reading the books. The scene where Dumbledore and Harry go to fetch the Horcrux is very well done. As with all the other adaptations, since the books are so rich with detail and sub-plots, many storylines have had to be removed, but I still felt it worked.Superior quality, intelligent story telling. - 32Elaya
Harry potter series recently drafted film “ Harry Potter and Half - Blood Prince “, continues its tradition with its own path with this edition of its outstanding sequel as we could say its getting better and better with each addition. David Yates remarkably did wonderful job of his director work, by perfecting use of Daniel Radcliffe as a grown up chosen kid to fight against voldemort also to help lonely Doubledore in his last hours of his life in the film with gratitude. As I say before intelligently mature performance for Harry potter and his fellows, memory took incredible place in this episode of story telling which allowed Harry Potter to spy or manipulate the recently hired medical professor through its black and grey smokes. Usual flares of genius strokes in the higher educations scene's like, lot of high protein eating tables with variety of foods, flying saucers, soccer like game high above the stadium ( which I always love to see in Harry Potter flicks ) travelling pants magical train journeys with his friends, magnificent decorated monumental structures as the background to its shots, constant efforts of Harry Potter for his part to reveal the truth behind the dark matters. Villains also gained strength and power through their alliance as they make their first strike on the educational compound with their evil masters. I would love this classic box office machine produced or grossed over 5.4 Billion dollars with its privileged organization of films for Warner Bros for their ultimate weapon of choice.
