The Twilight Saga: New Moon
The Next Chapter Begins
Just after Bella's (Kristen Stewart) 18th birthday, Edward (Robert Pattinson) decides to leave her behind in an effort to protect her. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year, numb and alone, she discovers she can summon Edward's image whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks, including a new taste for high-speed motorcycle jaunts.
With the help of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), her childhood friend and a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, Bella refurbishes a motorbike for her adventures. Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, who has a supernatural secret of his own.
When Bella wanders alone into a meadow, she finds herself face to face with a deadly attacker. Only the intervention of a pack of extraordinarily large wolves saves her from a grisly fate and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the ancient secret of the Quileute tribe and Edward's true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is quite unlike the one she had hoped for.

Enjoying the series - BarbA
I never read the books, so I can't compare the two. However, I'm really enjoying this series so far. It's exciting, there are a lot of good scenes, the scenery is quite beautiful, etc. etc.
My boyfriend enjoys watching these movies as well, and we'll probably end up purchasing the series after the last movie comes out.Good To Look At but GAWD the CORN! - KevinJaques
I liked looking at it, the forest is gorgeous, and Kristen's not bad either. They convey the vampire's speed with impact, clarity and originality. I had mixed reactions to the werewolves. Sometimes they seemed comically CG, other times magically massive. The overhead action shots really worked, creating a sense of primal speed and ferocity that was separated from us, alien in nature. Somehow that red-haired vampire conveyed a real animal vitality. I suppose that's ironic, what with her being un-dead and all, but it looks great. And you have to admit, Jacob's torso is a work of body-building art. The Euro-Vamps were well-imagined, but played over the top. Who wouldn't love to drive that car through that European countryside? It was gorgeous!
But how much teen corn can you take? Woe! I must kill myself if I can't be with you! No! I must kill MYSELF for making you say so! No! I must die so I get visions of you!
And not just 2 corn-dogs, but THREE this time!Laughed through the entire movie - CalgaryFlorida
I am not sure why they decided to rush out this movie as well as Eclipse but I guess if you have a weak story to start with then the movies wont be much better so bang them out as fast and cheap as possible to make the most amount of money.
anyway this movie sucked.
