This was really good - don't what the fuss is all about - tomdisc
I really don't know what the fuss is about. If you don't know what to expect, and haven't read the graphic novel (I didn't even know there was a graphic novel - and I'm quite sure I wouldn't have cared) this DVD cartoon is really ok. It's the sort of thing you would expect to see on Teletoon late in the evening. It didn't put me to sleep, but it didn't thrill me to death. It was just ok. But thankfully after reading all the negative reviews it didn't have me regretting I rented it - only the DVD "Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs" has ever done that. A 17 hour root canal would be better than that.Interesting but I've seen better - usernameya
This breaks away from the cannon DC universe, like an alternate reality. It is quite good but maybe I'm just used to the Superman of the animated series type. The story takes a while to get to the point once you're there, you for sure want to see how it will play out. For sure worth checking out if you're a Superman fan, but maybe check out the graphic novel first. I kind of wish I did.Disappointing - Szuter
As a fan of the All Star Superman comics this was a bit of disappointment. Mainly since a lot of my favorite parts were left out. The parts they did leave in were great but it would of been much a better experience if they included everything. The story is defiantly a great one Grant Morrison is a genius with his stories. I would probably enjoy it more if I didnt read the comics first.
