Gulliver's Travels
Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda, School Of Rock) is larger than life in this epic comedy-adventure based on the classic tale. When a shipwreck lands a lowly mailroom clerk named Gulliver (Black) on the fantastical island of Lilliput, he transforms into a giant - in size and ego! Gulliver's tall tales and heroic deeds win the hearts of the tiny Lilliputians, but when he loses it all and puts his newfound friends in peril, Gulliver must find a way to undo the damage. Through it all, Gulliver may just learn that it's how big you are on the inside that counts.

I was not expecting much from this movie, but thought it would be light hearted enough.
I was plesantly surprised to find this movie quite entertaining and funny enough that it was not over the top but kept it going right until the end.
Very enjoyable and Jack Black is always good for a laugh.Good if your 12 and under... - PoWhtBoY
I found no chemistry between Black and Peet. More or less this is geared for mainly for kids. Those over the age of 12 are likely to find little to smile at let alone laugh at. I expected more and was disappointed. To much filler and it gets carried away in trying to retell of the classic story.Pretty typical Jack Black... - cheapohubby
If you enjoyed Jack Black in the many movies where he's played pretty much the same character, then you'll probably enjoy this one too. But there's not much originality here. The basic plot is boy in mail room goes on misadventure trying to impress a girl. You've got all the standard Jack Black dialogue, where he's faking being a big cheese, only to get caught in his fibs. Then you've got him coming to the rescue, redeeming himself.
I wasn't willing to drop it down to "Disliked it", but "Liked it" was a bit of a stretch.
