The first season of Cougar Town was frequently hilarious, but also took a while to find its groove -- there was, after all, that unfortunate initial period where the show was actually about cougars. Now? It's just a hilarious ensemble comedy with sharp writing and a lot of heart. This season expertly puts a few of our characters through the ringer -- especially Travis -- and only strengthens the bonds between the excellent cast along the way. Please don't be turned off by the premise -- anyone who likes daring comedy series will love this show.
