Vincent Cassel is fantastic and electrifying!
Again we see him amazingly escape police custody twice, rob a casino, kidnap a billionaire, yes it sounds unbelievable, but the whole things fact.
For some reason Part 2 of Mesrine's story is far more intersetting. I wonder if the increase in violence has something to do with it? Amazingly Towards the end of his reign he still stood for no nonsense towards the correctness of his publicity seeking habit. Worth seeing, the french version of Scarface is provokative and entertaining.Vincent Cassel is a great actor! - Amateur
I have enjoyed the second part of Mesrine even more than the first one. Don`t ask me why but my appreciation for Vincent Cassel`s work became significantly more elevated with this film. I thought the displayed psychopathic attitude was a great success. At the end of the film I even googled Mesrine to learn more about the character. To me that is a sign that an interest has been triggered.Pas le Godfather mais intéressant quand même - LadyMaryann
J'ai finalement écouté Mesrine, partie 2. Belle performance de Vincent Cassel, même si je ne suis pas tout à fait arrivé à oublier l'acteur derrière le personnage. Le problème commun quand on doit expliquer la vie de quelqu'un en peu de temps, c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de choses à raconter et certains passages manquent de transition. Ça saute du coq à l'âne et on n'a pas le temps de s'attacher aux personnages. C'est le cas de la première partie. La deuxième partie est déjà plus intéressante. Les événements sont racontés avec plus de détails et on comprend mieux les motivations qu'a ce célèbre bandit de mener sa vie tel qu'il le fait. Je ne crois pas que ça ait la grandeur du Parain, même si je ne l'ai pas encore vu. Je voulais le voir, je ne me serais pas privé de regarder Vincent Cassel jouer pendant 4 heures.
