Great Blu-Ray Transfer - kevo64
This is a pretty good spy caper from the 70's, with two big stars at the time, though not a lot of chemistry. Still a lot of fun, good paranoid post watergate feel and a great transfer, the movie looks and sounds better than it did when I saw it in the theatres.3 Days of Entertainment - Moodyblue
This movie is one of my best of best of all times. It is the kind of movie I like to see over and over all the time. It is suspense all movie long. You start to breathe again once you see The End on the screen. I recommend it to everyone that likes action movie. From the time they use to make a great movie with a great script and great actors (Redford-Dunaway) not with special effects.Still relevant - Patz
The movie is from the seventies but - sadly - as relevant as it was. I guess it make it kind of classic.
This movie goes beyond the usual action/spy genre. It's nice to compare this one with the later Bourn series (Bourn Supremacy, Bourn Identity): like Matt Diamond, Redford also find himslef as an agent which is being chased by his own agency while he's trying to survive and figure out why. The main different is that Redford has no supremacy. On the contrary: he's never been a field agent and all he knows come from the books he read...
More than that, Redford character is completly blind to authority. He doubts and ignore every order he's given. I wish we had more of thise kind of critical thinkers. God knows we need them...
