4 For Texas
They're bustin' up the West like it's never been busted up before!
Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin play wily business rivals in this Wild West tale of gambling and romance. It's 4 for Texas as the two stars, joined by Anita Ekburg and Ursula Andress, vie for oneupmanship at the card tables of 1870s Galveston. The cards hold a lot more fun when the film's many talented co-stars join in. The Three Stooges turn up in a trademark slapstick sketch. Preening Victor Buono is the most devious, double-crossing villain this side of Snidely Whiplash. And Charles Bronson is a rattlesnake-mean gunslinger with a nasty habit of absorbing more lead than he dishes out. At center stage, from opening stagecoach shootout to final riverboat melee, pals Sinatra and Martin clearly have a blast. So will you.

Ordinary stuff - MovieLover
This is pretty ordinary stuff just about enlivened by the presence and acting abilities of Sinatra and Martin; and the beauty and sex appeal of Ekberg and Andress. This also could be one of the early films of Charles Bronson before he became more 'famous'.
But even the "four" cannot do much for this pretty ordinary stuff simply because it's so ordinary.
The story is boring, and frankly the movie is too darned long.
About 80 minutes would have been the preferred length.
A waste of some talent.Martin and Sinatra Do It Again - Radio_Jane
Wow what could be better than Dean Martin? How about Dean Martin along with Frank Sinatra in a western with a cameo by the three stooges? I don't normally like westerns, but I have to make an exception for this one. With witty repartee carried off as only Martin and Sinatra could, as well as some memorable scenes with Victor Buono as the corrupt banker, this movie rocks. Charles Bronson's villian was a brilliant piece of casting, and the beautiful sets and period costumes put the iciing on the cake. Keep in mind there is quite a bit of violence and some sexual references so put the kids to bed before you enjoy this one.
