A Knight's Tale
He Will Rock You
The 14th century takes a rocking new twist in A Knight's Tale, a stylish, exciting, action-packed adventure starring Heath Ledger (The Patriot, 10 Things I Hate About You) from acclaimed director Brian Helgeland (Payback). With heroic performances from Mark Addy (The Full Monty, Down To Earth), Rufus Sewell (Dangerous Beauty, Dark City) and Alan Tudyk (28 Days, Wonder Boys) and introducing sensational newcomer Shannyn Sossamon.

The only thing that stands between William and his dream of becoming the world champion of the extremest of sports is the bad boy of the sport Count Adhemar. And when the two rivals go lance to head at the world finals to determine who will be named the ultimate champion, you better arm yourself and hang on tight for the thrill ride of your life!

I love this movie. It's a wonderful combination of great acting, comedy, action, and romance. It's a modern twist on an old time tale of Knights and noblemen that is brilliantly done. This has become one of my family's favourite films.
Heath Ledger, Mark Addy, and Paul Bettany are fantastic in this one. Paul Bettany's character is very funny, and Rufus Sewell was great as the arch-enemy. The acting is very believable and the story is engaging and entertaining.
Well worth the time to watch it. It's different and quirky, but that's part of what makes this movie so lovable.A good laugh! - ChemGeek
This movie is just plain enjoyable. The plot is fairly linear and familiar, but the humorous approach makes it seem fresher. It is like a dialed-back version of Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Laughs are a tad more subtle, but gags and anachronisms are used to great effect. Zip it and enjoy!Great Fun! - Libby
With the amount of action movies thrown at us its hard to actually remember the really good ones. I was very impressed with this one. Heath Ledger fit the role perfectly and the supporting cast was very strong too. I really liked the story and the pace of the movie. The camera work really captured the action and scenery. A lot of fun and one worth adding to the collection. Cant help but feel sad when I watch this though given that Heath died so young one can only imagine what other roles he might have mastered.
