A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
If You Think You'll Get Out Alive, You're Dreaming.
Born the bastard son of a hundred maniacs, demented killer Freddy Krueger is back for fresh victims in this hallucinatory shocker co-written by original creator Wes Craven (Scream 1, 2 and 3).
The last of the Elm Street kids are now at a psychiatric ward where Freddy haunts their dreams with unspeakable horrors. Their only hope is dream researcher and fellow survivor Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp of the original Nightmare), who helps them battle the supernatural psycho on his own hellish turf.
Starring Patricia Arquette (Bringing Out The Dead, Stigmata) and Academy Award-nominee Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, Hoodlum), "Dream Warriors is both a horrific and hysterical trip!" (L.A. Herald-Examiner).

The third installment in the Elm Street series is one of the coolest in my opinion. Of course you cannot beat the original and by no means do I think it was better than the first. This one starts off with Kristin building a paper machea house of the original Elm Street house. After a failed "suicidal" attempt, Kristin is put into a mental hospital. Where she meets other teens that have struggled with nightmares. The hospital brings in Nancy, the girl from the original Nightmare, who helps the teens deal with their dreams. The coolest part of this when the teens enter their dreams they have special powers. The more to challenge Freddy with. There are plenty of great affects in this movie which are some of the greatest parts about viewing Nightmare movies. Plus, we have Freddy's great lines. He is a wise a$$. This movie also reveals many things about the overall story line, which is really cool.great movie - kracked
the second one goes with new people butin this one they go back to the original characters and continue what turns out to be a great story
i find this is the movie that really starts to get you an understanding of the characters and where the story is going
i just hope to see more of this in the new versions even though im anxious to see what new things may be addedBack on track - Poet
With the third installment of the Elm Street series, they got back on track. The first one is a classic, but the second one was sub par. The third one is really good!
Everything is there. The mood is set, the story is carried pretty well by the actors. Freddy is made to look truly evil, especially compared to the second movie of the franchise.
We also get some backstory on the Freddy character, which is always nice!
