About Last Night
It's about men, women, choices, friendship, love, and last night...
Rob Lowe doesn't want to get serious. Demi Moore doesn't want to get used. Together, they're an unforgettable couple in the sexy, contemporary comedy About Last Night... After drinks at a favorite Chicago hang-out, Danny Martin and Debbie Sullivan head to Danny's place to indulge in a the predictable single's quest - the one-night stand. Their affair is casual, sensual, and supposedly over, until something surprising happens. They want to see each other again. It's the start of an intense relationship that irritates Danny's rowdy best friend (James Belushi) and astounds Debbie's cynical buddy-roomie (Elizabeth Perkins), who do everything possible to break them up. But Danny and Debbie wind up living together, and amidst the daily drudge of domestic life, they begin to realize that making love is easy, saying "I love you" more difficult, and being in love the hardest of all.

This is a very nice 80's romantic film. Both Rob Lowe and Demi Moore are young and pretty. A simple story with good love scene. This is how 80's movie are made. If you belong to that generation, this gives you a good memory. One of the two best Demi Moore movie. The other is Ghost.About Last Night - Pugsley1
This movie is still one that I enjoy to date and have watched numerous times. Rob Lowe, Demi Moore have a definite chemistry; James Belushi is great as the annoying yet charming best friend to Rob Lowe's character, and Elizabeth Perkins is terrific as Demi's very critical room mate. I love the story as it probably relates to many of our lives in one way or another--seems like a simple "boy meets girl" but has all the usual ups and downs that we all have experienced in one way or another. I would recommend this one over and over again.Sarcastic, Funny and Very 1980's! - 1writer
Based on the play "Sexual Perversity in Chicago", this screen adaptation is a fun reflection of an aspect of the singles population in the 1980's. Demi Moore, is Debbie Sullivan a young, single professional living in Chicago who meets Danny Martin, a young salesman also living in the city. The romance starts quickly and is meant to only be an uncomplicated evening. The two find themselves wanting more and eventually moving in together. The film then follows the course of their young relationship and the happiness, drama, and growing that the two do during this time. Elizabeth Perkins and James Belushi play the couples' best friends and sometimes steal the scenes with their own personality quirks and the dark but hilarious insults that they sling at each other. The beginning monologue is particularly funny as is much of James Belushi's overinflated stories of his sexual escapades.
