Almost Famous: Untitled - The Bootleg Cut
Here's your ultimate backstage pass to "the best rock and roll movie ever" (Joel Siegel, Good Morning America), the Academy Award®-winning Almost Famous. "With this Bootleg Cut, you feel much more like you're on tour with the band, and you have a chance to get to know the characters in much greater depth," says director Cameron Crowe. Featuring superb performances by Oscar®-nominated Kate Hudson and Frances McDormand, Almost Famous is "an utter delight from the first frame to fade out" (Lou Lumenick, New York Post).

I LOVE Kate Hudson, she is such a good actress. This is such a fun story for all ages. I especially enjoy the wide variety of music in it. The storyline was very engaging and I found the wide range of actors to be quite enjoyable. Deffinately recomend it!Even better seen again - Screenfiend
This movie passes the toughest test, it improves with repetition. I think the bootleg cut is indulgent because it feels at times that it will just keep going. I realize now that the film captures a spontaneity that must permeate being on the road. Strangely, the only compelling perfomances are from Kate Hudson and Frances McDormand, providing the emotional centres for all the others thrashing back and forth. I am looking forward to the commentary. This version is much better.... - LandPhil
I loved this movie when I saw for the first time in the theatre and loved it even more when I saw this version. I just wanted the movie/tour to keep on going. This is a beautiful movie with all the essential elements; great acting, writing and music. The only negative part about watching this movie is that it eventually comes to an end.
