This is the follow up to Kiss The Girls, starring God himself, Morgan Freeman. It's pretty much along the same lines, with missing females, in this case a senator's daughter, and the subsequent search. It starts off with Freeman's partner getting killed in a pretty terrible sequence and horrible CGI. Luckily things went uphill from there. There's a pretty good twist in the end, but the acting is bad for the most part. Good thing Freeman was in most of the scenes so it was tolerable.Intelligent thriller - Ralston_McTodd
Detective stories are so often better than detective movies, but this film can hold its own in the genre. The script provides enough twists & turns, startling moments, dramatic moments, and reversals to keep you intrigued. Add the cool presence of Morgan Freeman and you have a film worth watching. The violence is never gratuitous and the camera doesn't linger on the blood and gore. Zip it.Another good crime thriller - Coconut_Willy
As always, Morgan Freeman is great in an 'intelligent cop' role so if you like him, this movie is certainly worth watching. The storyline here is original and interesting enough regardless of a few plot elements that might be a bit hard to believe. The main premise and the ultimate twist are very good and well planned. The cast here is very good, doing a fine acting job with a well written dialogue and with well developed characters. The sets and locations are also very good. The soundtrack and the camera work are appropriate. Although I thought that the pace of this film was sometimes a bit slow, it is justified by the desire to develop the psychological aspect of the different characters. There is also enough action scenes to sustain interest throughout. If you like this crime/psychological thriller genre, you will probably enjoy this one even though it can not be considered extraodinary on any level. It comes with a 'making of' featurette that is much more an extended trailer than anything else...
