This is just one of those movies that works on every level. A strong story with a lot of humor but depth, as well. The acting is strong and the special effects are great. Just a good movie all around. Family safe and just short of an actual "chick flick".

We always think of Spielberg for his most famous pictures but he's equally amazing when he makes smaller films like this. It's perfect. Maybe not ground-breaking but just perfect good, warm, wonderful movie. The chemistry amongst all the majors - Dreyfuss, Hunter, Goodman and Hepburn - is really great. We forget these days how charming an actor Dreyfuss is. And Hunter? Heart be still!excellent movie - saskatchewankid
This is an excellent movie with top notch acting by all the characters. Movie held our interest from beginning to end. Excellent cinematography and location shots. Steven Spielberg has done a great job a always in bringing the story to life. Richard Dreyfuss ,Holly Hunter and John Goodman all did a tremendous job breathing life into their characters.
