American Graffitti is by far the best 60's movie ever made. It shows what life was like back then. From the music, the crusing & weekend life of high school people in this time era.
The 2nd movie More American Graffitti was not as good. If you were a big fan of the first movie you would watch More American Graffitti & think it was something to watch. If not you wouldn't like it.Boring - Blob
I was never part of the car culture, so maybe I can't relate to this movie, although that hasn't stopped me from liking other movies outside my experience. I watched the first 15 minutes of the first movie and gave up. Just a bunch of people I don't care about driving around. Perhaps it got better later on, but I got the feeling it was more of the same, so out of the DVD player it goes and back to zip. I guess if you are from that time period, or lived the life it would be good for you, but if not, there is nothing else there, or at least not for me.American Graffffffffffffffffffzzzzzzz - AP--
Oh, sorry. Nodded off there for a sec. Thought the movie was still on!! While somewhat cute, American Grafitti was on the whole pretty disappointing. There were a few laughs, but overall pretty boring. The only plus, was seeing some of today's mainstream actors in their debuts/close to debuts!! Harrison Ford looked 15 years old!! Now, American Grafitti 2 was so bad, I can't find the words!! The psychedelic split screens/ multiple screens made viewing the movie painful and the acting made it unbearable. OH how did Ron Howard so NOT play a good role of stressed-out husband, and he and his wife and their marital problems? This movie BIT. It bit, bit, bit. Don't rent it.
