Don't compare it to American Werewolf in London - Forester
This movie is pretty silly and over the top, but intentionally and good-naturedly so. It is a fun movie to watch although, frankly, I'm a sucker for just about any film with Julie Delpy. In that respect, this did not disappoint: she played the role "seriously" yet you sense that she too knows this is a silly pseudo-remake of American Werewolf in London. Don't compare it with that and you'll have a dandy time!Funny and touching - Chucky
This flick was well intentioned and that along gives it credability. I mean who think's of bunji jumping off of the Eiffel tower? On top of that, our reluctnant hero jumps to save a suicidal girl--and succeeds! The warewolf club, clearly a rip off of the rave on Blade although in more charming surroundings, European underground construction, it can't be beaten. The story itself, boy meet girl is fairly blasse' untill you meet the girls mother. "I'm not as attractive as I once was" she says, boy is she right! Dead from gastly wounds inflicted by her own daughter, then a wolf she stands in her bloodied shroud putrifying more with each passing day --destined to remain undead until the wolf that killed her is also dead.
Not for kids
Not for sekers of an easy thrill
taken with a gran of salt its an ok flickPretty awful... - haras
I am a huge fan of American Werewolf in London, and a huge fan of Tom Everett Scott...but this just didn't work. Effects weren't great, story was weak and script was pretty lame. It's too bad - could have been a really good one. If you're a fan rent it, but don't hold your hopes too high.
